Past Lives 2023
The quietness was something I’ve never really experienced in a movie before, and it worked so well. As each character dealt with their personal emotions, they were equally considerate to the emotions of the people close to them. It was such a breath of fresh air to see how gentle everyone communicated with each other even when it hurts. It was definitely a slower movie, but this, along with the beautiful cinematography, allowed love of all aspects to stand in the spotlight. Oh and he was waiting for her at the steps 🥹
