so…i still love this movie. it’s gorgeous to look at the plot really pulls you in for sure.
but oh my goodness the sex scene is so long and gratuitous that it’s almost unbearable. I don’t mind this level of intimacy when it adds to the story but I feel like it falls flat here. What should be an intimate connection, a moment that pulls away from the reality of the situation, is lost on me. It’s only 4 minutes…
