Some of the one-liners in this were rough… It always seems to be the case that biopics written for mass audiences (PG-13) are stuck on the worst kind of rails and feel the need to explain so much. Stop assuming the audience is dumb!

Re-watched for a class assignment. A fantastically executed documentary and will be exciting to come back to over the coming decades, especially as an entire generation is growing up learning from those in charge that cheating and lying can bring you glory. I'm hopeful that society can learn from examples like Theranos (having docs made that expose these cautionary tales certainly helps). But the lesson here is that glory achieved without honor is a lost cause and never works out in the end. Lying and cutting corners to achieve a vision always catches up to the individual, in some form or another.

Why does this movie never get old? Because it’s perfect. I don’t make the rules ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Ummmm… How come nobody told me that there was a movie that practically serves as pure source material for Zelda???

This was beautiful and profound in both its story and art. I wish they held onto depiction of nature for a few more frames so I could take it all in.

I also thought that the way secondary characters communicated was charming and unlike most movies I've seen.

I can hardly wait to revisit this with kids someday.
