Cuddled up with a sickly little Beth to watch this in Barcelona. Both of us kept saying “wait why?” “hang on what’s he doing?”
So much was unclear and that’s the point - we’re watching it through Sophie’s lens. Another review said this is a film about the need to understand. Sophie rewatching the footage on what appeared to be her 31st birthday broke my heart.
This one really hit home and I’ll be thinking about it for a long time. Frankie Corio is amazing, I’ll be first in line for whatever she stars in next.
