  Ok don’t get me wrong, I love the “brat pack movies” (St Elmo’s Fire, The Breakfast Club, etc.), but this is just awful. This has got to be the most melodramatic, self-important piece of media I’ve ever watched. For as much as Andrew McCarthy hates his association with the “brat pack,” it seems to be his absolute favorite thing to talk about; not many people could write an entire book AND make a 90 minute documentary about something SO INSIGNIFICANT, but this man can and did. It’s been almost 40 years….it’s time to move on.
