  overall solid but i felt that - with the concept being so wild and confident - the plot could've done more with it. performances were fantastic across the board though, with Pattinson once again exhibiting his talent through Mickey and his eccentric and (ironically) individualistic behaviour. best thing about it were the creepers though - I'd pay good money for a whole film solely dedicated to them.

  I went into this completely blind, alone, with the lights off, in the pitch black. Little did i know how effective and relevant this would be for the film itself. 

  This presented a grim nostalgia of being alone as a kid, imagining what could be lurking in the dark corners of your room. I don't think i've seen that fear of the dark be replicated in a way like this before. It always keeps you on edge whilst the silence…
