Daniel Craig going insane over a confusing and toxic relationship with a twink.

I enjoyed this for the most part, and I really liked the blurring of surrealism. The first few chapters were beautifully shot!

Once he goes on the search for the telepathic drug, they lost me a little, BUT the whole idea of wanting to travel to a different country and adventure through a jungle, just to find a drug that would allow you to hear what another person thinks about and feels for you was so painfully real.

Unrequited love is always a sore watch ;(

HORNY GOTHIC ROMANCE!!!!! Level: deathly horny.

    This was great.

I loved the lean into the original folklore (highlighted to me by my movie encyclopaedia best friend) !

From the guttural sounds of Orlok to the physicality of his hunger and watching him quench his thirst was quite something, his character was really disgusting. Didi-Huberman was right, horror reinforces attraction. Even the way Orlok dies was grotesquely beautiful.

Obviously William Defoe was a cute old raving lunatic, I wouldn’t have him any other way.

You could never please me like he does?!?! GAGGED.

I was left pleasantly aroused in revulsion.

I enjoyed this watch! I prefered this one to the original for sure.

It was so nice to see the main characters not falling for each other or craving a sexual connection from one another, just because an apocalyptic event has taken place.

Seeing their platonic relationship develop was heartwarming, watching them really seeing each other and taking care of their needs. The pizza and magic trick scene was awfully endearing :)

ALSO, I am very happy (of course) that the cat survived😋

this was an insane watch, teetering along a fever dream!

I know this was technically a sensual gothic love story but it was basically be horny or die.

Gary Oldman was an insatiable Dracula, a true diva if you will. Being cucked by Dracula was not something I was prepared for seeing!

It was really nice to see so many great actors in one film, Keanu Reeves, Winona Ryder, Anthony Hopkins, Richard Grant AND Tom Waits?!?!? Dracula definitely likes his girls with a little drop of poison 🤓
