Brokeback Mountain 2005
How did Ennis get his last name, Del Mar? He doesn't look Filipino, nor Latino.
Wait... I guess I don't either.

Kate & Leopold 2001
If you liked "Deadpool & Wolverine", you'll love "Kate & Leopold".
Just like the Marvel tentpole, this one stars Hugh Jackman, whose character is also pulled from his own timeline, develops a romance, but needs to fix the possible rip of the space/time continuum. The title even contains two of its main characters and even an ampersand! (I think we're sensing a 20+ year trend here)
And just like in Hugh Jackman's other iterations of the berserk X-Man in "The Wolverine" and "Logan", James Mangold also directed this rom-com classic!

Captain America: Brave New World 2025
'Brave New World' had every opportunity in the script to lean into what 'Winter Soldier' did. Maybe it would've felt repetitive, but the trailer sold us a political thriller. I wouldn't have mind another MCU "Manchurian Candidate".
I wonder if this was a result of direction or what the studio wanted. I had at least hoped for interesting visuals, but didn't even get that.
All that to say, we got an okay film out of it.

Mystic Pizza 1988
"Mystic Pizza" is a house special pie that has sauce that is well-balanced, sprinkled with a light blend of cheese, a single topping of heartbreak, two toppings of parental disapproval, two toppings of relationship redemption, and a taste of sisterhood all in one bite.
This is Keith Del Mar, wishing you bon appetit!
