Babygirl 2024
More uncomfortable than erotic. There was no buildup to their relationship and the dynamic between them was hard to pin down. The whole movie is comprised of moments rather than plot points. I appreciate the journey of a woman’s sexual discovery (and the fact that the male lead was there solely to drive her journey forward, a role that is typically reversed), but overall it was lackluster with unnecessary subplots. Nicole Kidman was the saving grace as she is always captivating to watch.
