  I lament the fact that this movie was a box-office failure. We were stripped of a sequel because as a four year-old I was too busy living a childhood instead of working a job to pay for multiple screenings of this masterpiece, ugh.

  Space pirates, an amazing cyborg surrogate father figure and not to mention 3D CGI seamlessly baked in with traditional 2D animation in the early 2000s. This movie was ahead of its time and then some. 

  This movie oozes heart…
