  2017. It’s a hot summer day.
   
  A group of middle schoolers in Panic! At The Disco tee shirts and shitty eyeliner terrorize a local AMC theater with their sweaty, greasy presence. After begging their parents for $20, each of them gaze upon the screen to watch the Emoji movie “for the meme” as they say. 

  
  Between the stale Vine references the tweens make and the movie’s crude attempts at a cash grab, it truly is a theater experience to remember. Memories like these are the only redeeming quality of the Emoji movie.
