Barbie 2023
A capitalist monstrosity. Had more interesting things to say about masculinity than feminism. The marketing for this movie (which included things like Barbie movie branded anti-cellulite creams, btw) was so oppressive and unavoidable that it forced this movie into our consciousness and convinced everyone that it was about empowerment not $$. I didn’t buy it. Sorry I’m a hater.
