michelle pfieffer is a baddie. sad sad movie for girls, the best genre probably. it did feel a little like a lifetime movie sometimes, but maybe that’s just the early 2000s of it all. crazy that this was 2 hours, honestly could have been longer because we kinda grazed over her getting shot.

robert pattinsons voice was unbearable. the political commentary was a bit too obvious and if that’s the route they wanted to go they should have done more. too heavy on exposition for not enough payoff (mom car crash half ass story line?). BUT i did like the sci fi big bugs with goofy ass translation, i think they should have picked that up in the first half and made it more about them because they were funny.
