  The Worst Person in the World 2021

  I loved this movie, I feel very connected to our main character miss Julie. Julie’s indecisiveness coupled with her vast and varying interests (writing, photography, feminism, being silly, etc.) makes her the ideal character for me to project myself onto. She is witty, sharp, and talented, yet she struggles to take meaningful action for much of the movie; she’s so busy running, seeking what’s next, what's more. Her character is the embodiment of hedonism and at the same time all of what it means to be lost in adulthood, trying desperately to grasp onto any semblance of the self.

  Why the hell did everyone hype this up I must know? It’s basically just absurdist and the plot wasn’t as deep as I would have liked. Also everyone talking about the bathtub scene… DID YOU NOT SEE THE GRAVE SCENE????

  It’s interesting to see Adam Sandler in a role like this and it’s extremely intense and anxiety-inducing but I like it for some reason.
