Soul 2020
Some really good ideas and concepts but not well executed. This movie is all over the place and the entertainment value just isn’t there. There’s potential for some beautiful takeaways but I feel like I’d need to give it a rewatch - which doesn’t sound appealing.
I will say the depiction of New York was spot on and the representation of black culture felt so natural and authentic. Appreciated both of those things.
