  have you seen my beautiful boy? tell him i miss him. 

  IMMEDIATELY SOBBING. i always go back to this scene, it shows the constant yearning for the return of the person they once knew PERFECTLY. this whole movie does such an amazing job at showing the personal and emotional battles of addiction, not just stereotypes. this movie leaves me speechless every single time ugh i love it
