  Rest in Peace, Vladimir Nabokov, you would have sued the creators of this film.

  Sadly this movie is quite well made, and has amazing dialogue and cinematography you will find all over 2014 tumblr, but that's awful.   I hate myself for how much I enjoy this movie. Maybe it's the nostalgia, maybe it's the rainy small-town vibes, maybe it's the sheer enjoyment I get from laughing at the horrible acting and even worse plot, but this is genuinely one of my comfort films.

  i can’t with this
  ik its an old movie so obviously there’s gonna be out of date terminology, but are you kidding? the portrayal of transgender people, specifically mtf, is so bad. it’s so outdated, it’s so rude, i just cant. and that one scene with the whole sexual harassment thing?? that wasn’t funny. that is a physical scene of every transphobes ideology. the whole point of this movie was supposed to be an inclusive, “it’s ok to be different”…
