Breathtaking cinematography and lovely twist on a old tale!! The costume design ugghhh imma definitely steal some ideas especially that yellow cape with a bow on it when she first goes into the woods!! I love the irony of this being irl and instead of animation bc they actually do satire of it but using real life elements if that makes sense giving us a lot if funny juxtaposition!!

Such good animation I definitely say style over substance for this movie compared 2 the rest of their movies but holy fuck is the story still so reall abt loneliness and isolation, which is always a theme in the ghibil world!! ME AND SAIGE OBV WATCHED TG!!
