Crazy Rich Asians 2018

Anytime a book becomes a movie, details must be sacrificed. But the movie did a terrible job of reducing characters from the book
into very one dimensional versions of themselves. Peik Lin is reduced to some comic relief quirky best friend role, Michael reduced to cheating ungrateful husband, even the ending changes to try and wrap everything up into a nice Hollywood happy ending where the book keeps things vague and realistic to the fact that not all relationship troubles can be solved. Nonetheless still entertaining and fun to see a book I enjoyed come to life on a screen.Translated from by
