Right off the bat I noticed that Hugh Grant was wearing a Todd Snyder cardigan that I know costs like $400; which is something his character, based on his motives and house, would never own.
The girls in the movie where great having to listen to Reddit Atheist Man in the first half, and then just lost me in the second.
Rob Schneider's best performance is in a movie where Frasier complains about having to captain an old submarine crewed by fuckups but seems to have the time of his life.
This was a VHS we owned so I guess its nostalgic. I mean, it's not the worst thing ever; I'd rather watch this then get stabbed or clean up a stranger's barf.
I made the mistake of watching an extended cut of this, holy moly that made this movie feel like it would never end. While I appreciate and enjoyed this being a movie about stunts made by stunt guys/gals, the plot it hangs on isn't worth the watch.
Add this to the "They should've made a sequel to The Nice Guys instead" list. Watching Ryan Gosling get beat up the whole movie just made me want to turn this off and turn on The Nice Guys.
It's so strange, this movie ends without telling us what happened to the Mujahideen? Did they stay friends with America over the next decade?
This movie is boomer gruel garbage to make America feel better for making the world a worse place. Only gets a single star for PSH freakouts.
