  Lots to like!

  Nice to see a movie about a myth that dispenses with a lot of the myth. Feels like a real accounting of how his return to Ithaca would feel to the people involved.

  Also nice that everything looks like shit, like Greece looked when Homer wrote the Odyssey.

  Penelope a lovely character in this.

  Odysseus is also a lot deeper than “heroes” in modern media tend to be, I love his deep sense of never ending shame.
