  One of the best movies of the past couple years. Cinematography and scoring were great, story line was well written and was adequately told in the amount of time of the movie. The acting was incredible, Phoenix easily deserves the Oscar for best male performance. Only thing I didn’t love was I think they pushed some of the violence and gore a smidge to far, like the smashing head scene, that didn’t need to go on for as long as it did. Other than that it was outstanding.

  It was a very entertaining movie that had too many plot holes and pushed through everything too quick. Cinematically it was great and it had really good scoring, but to really unpack the story they tried to tell the needed to make it at least 3 hours long. Also when the hell did leia train to be a Jedi? Why did they only spend like 3 minutes on her death and move on? Not the best writing imo.
