The acting was lowkey awkward at times but the concept and plot was funny. I watched it a couple times mostly cause I like the actors. It wasn’t as good as I was expecting but it wasn’t bad, I think some of the awkwardness was intentional so I’m not that mad about it

As someone who read the book and enjoyed the book a lot, the movie just can’t compare. The book takes place over such a long period of time that I think the story would’ve been better portrayed as a short series, but I understand that movies are better for reaching audiences and gaining popularity. I would’ve enjoyed it more with better fit actors for the roles, as controversial as it is. Nonetheless, it wasn’t a bad movie. The actors for Atlas and Ryle did a great job in my opinion! Not terrible but not sure if I would recommend lol
