Be Kind Rewind 2008
This was a quite disjointed but also very lovable movie. I feel like this could’ve been an instant classic if it felt a little more focused, but I still feel like the film gets the primary messages across. At times overly goofy then switching quickly to dramatic moments, it’s hard to feel stable emotions during the fairly short runtime. Maybe the point of the movie is to encapsulate the limitless boundaries of the medium though so I can’t make heads or tails of this shit.

Everything about the Inside project from Bo Burnham is perfection. Even in the rare case that the music doesn’t click for some people or if they don’t find it funny, it’d be a challenge to debate that Bo Burnham is anything less than a genius. I have so much respect for the level of ambition that this man has and it’s frankly impossible to not be greatly inspired.

Yep, pretty sure the critics actually rewatched Babylon A.D. (2008) thinking they saw this movie, cause this has gotta be one of the biggest blunders the critics have made in the history of film. I know film is subjective, but still… Go give this movie more money please, don’t let this end up being a bigger box office flop than Cats (2019).
