  This is what happens when you take Wes Anderson’s symmetrical style and remove the goofiness. And I’d argue the symmetry is paralleled even more when you realize just home many A/B side scenes there are in this movie. 

  The premise is interesting, it’s shot extremely well, and it really does leave you with a lot of questions (which is a positive for a psychological thriller). But it lacked any sort of emotional depth for me and that’s really what grounds it as a good film and not a great one for me.

  “My good fellow why would you do that” 

  Near perfect. Some of the most atmospheric filmmaking I’ve ever had the pleasure of watching. Visually it rules the medium. There isn’t a more hauntingly beautiful film out there, at least that I’ve seen, and at times scenes are composed in such a symmetrical manner that even Wes Anderson would blush.
