Al Pacino is the shepherd and we are his flock.

A truly spiritual journey where each player, coach, and spectator is involved in a sacred ritual whether they know it or not.

Unfortunately AGS suffers from an inefficient use of a 2.5 hour runtime which spoils what is meant to be the big pay off at the end. Performances from Pacino, Fox, and Quaid binds the movie together that sells the idea that they are a team. Diaz makes the most with what she’s given but the writing of her character leaves a lot to be desired, particularly the politics and economics within pro football.

After Being John Malkovich and Adaptation, Charlie Kaufman follows up with the movie he will forever be known for, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. Through surrealist practical and visual effects, we get a visualization of memories and their connections to emotions through the journey of Joel Barish as he tries to reclaim the memories of his ex girlfriend, Clementine during a bizarre operation.

Like his previous two films, Eternal Sunshine is inventive and surprising while still prioritizing the human…

    Fatal Attraction

    ★★★½

Sex and violence often go hand in hand in American movies but rarely intersects the way it does in Fatal Attraction. Violence is often an after thought and a tool used as a means to an end but Fatal Attraction takes it a step further by establishing a passionate romance between Alex and Dan and bookends with two graphic and disturbing fights that ends with Alex’s death. Whether Dan and Alex are in each other’s arms of embrace or violent struggle, there’s a strong sense of intimacy between the two.
