  An uncomfortably relatable depiction of desire. Visually stunning when not wildly under-exposed. Less rats than expected. More super on the nose religious imagery than expected. All good to me!

  More movies need to use languages like this one does. Sharp visual direction. Funny. Gets all the right nuances. If you're gonna do alternate history well you have to know what you're doing - Tarantino knows what he's doing. Probably five stars if I could keep my eyes open for the duration of all the bloody scenes, but that's a me problem.

  Oh! The set design was like a shoebox diorama. Drew Starkey has full control over every single one of the 43 muscles in his face. Luca Guadagnino knows how to play the rests. Didn't know how to look away. I liked it!
