This is a great movie. It's a touch slow at times, but I love how the police's incapability to find the killer leads to so much chaos and surprising results. A fun and tense film throughout especially once it his the midpoint.

Is it groundbreaking? Not at all. Did I have tons of fun? Absolutely. This was a great ride and I enjoyed it the whole time. Should he be dead after like 30 minutes? Probably. But they commit to the bit hard enough to make this not just an eye roll of a time, and for that I can commend them.
“When did you bury him?”
I was not ready for that line. That one wrecked me. Such a powerful concept for the children to understand. Everyone did a great job, but Torres did outstanding work here. The ability to both completely hold it together while being subtly on the brink of absolutely losing it is not easy to do, yet completely believable in this context. It’s a powerful film and message and worthy of all the nominations it’s received.
This was second hand stress and embarrassment dialed to 11. It’s a great concept and everyone is acting fantastically in it. I want so badly to see how that van ride goes.
