  never knew i had to see brunette sam reid play a yearner. couldn’t stop screaming “I HEARD YOUR HEARTS DANCING” after he yelled “BECAUSE I LOVE HER” though.

  ending was a bit rushed, would’ve loved to see more of them together and i feel like dido looked like she was crying 90% of the film but lovely little film!

  the ending broke me as a person i’m afraid. i felt the foreshadowing but hoped i was just reading too much into it. so beautifully done it just breaks your heart in so many ways, another example of how kore-eda truly sees children and wants to tell their stories - even the less fortunate ones.
  the emphasis on the unbreakable bond between siblings to just stay together and take care of each other in their own little ways just makes…
