"Locke" is an impressively shot, edited, and acted film. A great example of setting a limitation and using that to create something outstanding.

Being stuck in a car with a guy who is blowing up his whole life, is a stressful thing. I've never cared so much about cement before.

"Flower" is a teenage dark comedy that I think is like a combo of "Juno" and "Pretty Persuasion", though it's not as quirky as "Juno" and not as subversive as "Pretty Persuasion".

Many may not be able to get past the plot to enjoy the humour, but I laughed out loud more than once. It's an enjoyable watch for anyone that digs coming of age movies, with a dark twinge.

I feel like there's probably a better version of this movie. Like if given the opportunity to cut loose they could have gone further with the humour and insane premise. Netflix is clearly going for the hallmark vibes though, so dispite succeeding at that, I really think more raunch would have elevated the whole thing.

I said "Hell House LLC" didn't work for me as a found footage movie because it lacked authenticity, well... "Ghostwatch" is super authentic.

Even not being familiar with the BBC personalities who play themselves, the production and performances feel authentic, as well as the scares... until a certain point. Reeling you in with plausible deniability, a slow burn that knows that it should end with an explosion not a fizzle.
