I didn’t expect it to be this good… it’s a story about our strange future, tumultuous present, and the old prehistoric core of humanity. Funny, charming, smart - and I’m still thinking about it. Best I’ve seen since Oppenheimer.

Mufasa: The Lion King 2024
Although not without its merits, the movie captivates the “danger anywhere” feeling I love so much with a good plot and story to tie it all together. The beautiful animation and soundtrack were impressive, and the themes of home, family and love make it a more than worthy sequel that surprised me at every turn.

Beetlejuice Beetlejuice 2024
Going in without any high expectations , not having watched the first one - I was in a hazy acid trip for 90+ minutes. I laughed almost all the way, and enjoyed wonderful aesthetics , fourth wall breaks and utterly funky, clumsy and weird in the best way possible. Some parts didn’t quite connect together, but overall - it’s a must watch for a good laugh
