This is the best movie I don't have a copy of in my collection. I rented it from Amazon, but while the audio was fine, the video was slipping around like a scratched DVD. 10/10 movie, but 5/10 viewing experience, and a reminder that physical media is superior to streaming.

The Long Day Closes 1992
This movie blends memory, dreams, and nostalgia like no film I've ever seen. The cinematography is a major improvement from Distant Voices, Still Lives while still maintaining a similar aesthetic. Every time I watch, I'm completely absorbed by the atmosphere, and it flies by, while also feeling like I've always been watching it, if not like I'm living in it's memories. This is the kind of film I can watch many times and not get tired of.
