  Rewatched recently with new eyes and some of the shit said about women was really uncomfortable. I mean, I was acutely aware of it upon first watch when this was initially released, but when revisiting, it’s astonishing bullshit that the filmmakers could’ve addressed. I like the black flag stuff obviously. And it’s great that Kira from black flag called out the misogynistic bullshit in the scene. Mad love for Kira forever. Seriously, swoooon. Anyway, the book is incredible and I still have my copy that I stole from a big box store on tour a million years ago
