  It was fine. 

  Like many - I’m a big fan of Dylan. If nothing else, I think Chalamet’s portrayal shines here and serves to prove his range as an actor. 

  As far as the film itself, it’s almost entirely devoid of any political context leading up to the Newport Autumn Festival. While the Cuban Missile Crisis is used to establish the time period, Vietnam is entirely absent from a film where nothing is said about how it caused tensions within the…

  Early Hitchcock.

  The fact that this movie keeps getting made speaks volumes to the predatory nature of men. 
  Worth it for the blood-soaked final girl scathing “I told you so” look. 

  Technically competent, nothing new narratively.
