Martin Scorsese nailed this. I can’t think of another movie that has combines genre elements in this particular way. Screwball comedy and horror.

I liked this! I think that Bong Joon Ho’s english language films always are a bit wonky for me for whatever reason but I would rather watch 1000 of these than a single mass produced dumbass netflix original film.
Really fun to watch RPat work, he’s really in his silly voice bag in this one, I would have watched it off of that information alone.
This wasn’t even close to as funny as Cunk on Earth, maybe could have been pared down? Still enjoyable just maybe not as much so as it was the first time around.

The animation in this movie is gorgeous.
The plot is nonsense and the ending is horrifically bad. I’ve never been so mad at the ending of a movie. Hey I know I shot the dragon version of Elsa from frozen but it’s YOUR fault actually, you made this happen, had you just rolled over and allowed me to continue abusing you and your pals none of this would have happened.
And that person is immediately redeemed. Fuck this movie dude.
