This film is so very beautiful. Jane eyre’s life is tragic, but recounted so poignantly as if it were eulogy of dead flowers. That’s the best I can surmise but all due to the clever fukunaga this film is stunning. The looming landscapes and act as metaphor to exile Jane eyre from any form of institutional happiness.
