It was alright. I feel Bong's films are always like a meandering thought, and just when they're getting somewhere it hits a new track and it's suddenly about something else. Or the track it's about to go down abruptly ends.
Which isn't particularly bad cos it means a lot happens and many subjects are touched upon, but it stops it being a nice concise contained story. And explains why it feels like it's an hour longer than it needs to…

This is one of those films I wish I’d been able to see in the cinema; big screen, big sound, audience reactions... But even sat at home, on my own, without those all encompassing sensations, I haven’t experienced a film this overwhelming and adrenaline pumping and simplistically, efficiently, emotionally communicative in a long, long time.
