Truly, a meditative piece and somewhat a spiritual performance by the main character. This idea of identity as a young African American girl and the spaces she has to flow through.
A great performance. A familiar experience to those who live it. Yet, perhaps a bit too slow. Leaves you with your thoughts throughout the movie. The question is, do you want to be alone with your thoughts?
