El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie 2019
Dont get me wrong, I enjoyed El Camino but I feel like that's just because of the universe it's attaches to. In honesty, it seems like a glorified Easter egg hunt. I'm sure most Breaking Bad fans are familiar with the idea that BrBa is a 'modern western' as many have dubbed it, and this was overdone in the film for me - in the form of a literal finger-twitching pistol duel. I always liked breaking bad due to it's subtleties, but it dives in head first here and it just doesn't work for me. The closure for Jesse is nice though.
