Mickey 17 is ambitious in its commentary on identity, capitalism, cults/religion, colonization, animal cruelty, authoritarianism, you name it. It’s good fun and Pattinson was sexy as hell but in being so ambitious, some elements felt too underdeveloped; the movie might’ve been better it if it narrowed its focus a bit.
