i knew going into this movie that it would always be better than the book but with colleen hoover i wouldn’t be surprised if she magically found a way to make this movie as cringe and mind numbing as her writing :)

A decent movie with an important message where the cycle of violence and death will continue through generational trauma at the hands of the cartel. However, the pacing fell off several times throughout the movie and there were just wayyyyy tooo many filler shots and montages. Emily Blunt eats tho :)
