  can’t really figure this one out 
  everything just felt shallow but also mikey madison gave a fantastic performance can’t fault her
  somehow felt directionless but the 2.5 hours also flew by? didn’t hate it didn’t love it probably won’t watch it again though

  Comer and Graham time and time again prove that they really are two of the best actors this country has produced and Help is no different - they are absolutely breathtaking throughout. The 25 minute one shot was perfectly executed I felt like I couldn’t breathe the whole time. The one thing I will say is I don’t think the last act of the film should have happened like that. I didn’t hate it but it wasn’t needed?? That being said…

  I think the term ‘comfort film’ is potentially over used but it’s such a good way to describe The Holdovers!! I have no idea why I only gave this 4 stars on my initial viewing because I think it’s absolutely perfect, the cinematography, the soundtrack, Paul Giamatti leading incredible cast, flawless ❤️
