Say Anything... 1989
Nothing remarkable, it is an 1980s/90s romance film. But I appreciate the simplicity, realistic conversations and subtle real life qualities, like bird chirping at jail yard. The entire love relationship makes me laugh, and yet swoon because it’s so light and young.

One of the most unique “romance films” I have seen. Expected it to be fun, sporty, and was constantly surprised. The first 15 minutes were kinda slow and I wasn’t excited that is was a movie that would incorporate flashbacks… but it was so well done between the timing of the current match, hair cuts, and maturity of every actor.
