Autism be damned, that boy can save a species !!
Bizarre in its bigger swings, magnificent in its less pronounced quirks. I truly loved the look and feel of the setting here, the music and sound design do a great job pulling you the rest of the way in after being hooked by the visual language. Creature design kicks tons of ass and the cast does great work.

- the ambient score that breathes life into Mann’s hypnotic LA
- the colors/lightning usage
- the sound design, all the little real world background noise
- the performances
- the inside baseball dialogue adding to the verisimilitude of these character’s daily lives
- the needle drops
- the driving scenes, ever contemplative
- Neil’s house being a perfect, silent display…
I want to kill them. all of them. all of the fucking minions. I wanna strangle them and feel their necks break under the tension of my fingers. fuck.
