  I don't think the writers had a clear plan for season 2 and it's reflected through the character's decisions lol.  I still hold onto hope s2 is just a setup for next season... it mostly felt like filler and it repeated a lot of what was said in the first season ... also didn't have much food for thought about class and equality like season 1 did... characters aren't as memorable either 

  Always disappointing when a great piece of media falters as it continues. But perhaps there will be something worth sticking around for next season

  A true slow burner inching towards a bizarre but beautiful ending... sadly you don't get much insight of the characters relationships so i didn't sympathize much for them and frankly found them bleak :/

  If I didn't have the Stephen Fry & Jude Law version to compare to I'd say there wasn't a more perfect casting than Peter Finch & John Fraser. The acting is superb! Overall well done for it's time. Really puts the homophobes in their place as the villains. Only disappointment is the absence of gay sex scenes.
