Kieran Culkin’s stellar performance exposes the nuances of pain without - necessarily - begging for the audience’s attention - allowing the viewers to feel heard but separated from the story. The dead space layered with often, breathtaking, painful scenery lets the audience sit with their unique pain while nodding to its haunting beauty.
