This is a technical marvel!
It’s a heartbreaking experience with incredible acting and writing. You essentially watch 4 select hours of these people’s lives and it is so well thought out and engaging and every episode has a moment that completely shifts. Each episode is perfectly paced to the point where It’s got a clinical structure to it. plot point 1 plot point 2 etc etc but it’s masterful to have it play out in real time.

Watched at Joburg Film Festival
In school we learnt that rehearsals are some of the most sacred times. It’s a privilege to witness a rehearsal as it’s where the artists are trying and failing and doing things they would never do in front of people.
This movie is special because it’s over an hour of rehearsals for a show you knew meant soooo much to everyone involved. And it ended up meaning a lot to me too.
A great way to end off a JFF filled weekend.
