  unintentionally feminist film that represents resilience against capitalism(somewhat) and patriarchy, that centers around radical nihilism and its impending doom, and not conforming to obligations and expectations forced onto women and "their purpose." this movie is a great satire, the theme of "the world has gone bad, we will go bad as well" is a concept that idk if chytilova intended on being so liberating. I love this film so much, new wave films will always have a hold on me.…
