Eastern Promises 2007
This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
This film was a step up from History of Violence but it still fell a little short for me. It ended so abruptly that with 5 minutes to go I thought we were in the last quarter of the film with maybe 30 minutes to go and then boom. It ended. Felt like the film really built up to something more than just Viggo Mortensen sitting at a table

Rocky IV 1985
This movie was just goofy from beginning to end. This especially hurt after coming off the high of the cinematic masterpiece known as Rocky 3.
Straight off the bat, why was there a robot? It was so ridiculous that it felt like a Christmas special. The robot felt like more of a surprise than Apollo dying.
Apollo Creed dying in this film was a good plot point and I like the whole avenging an old friend’s death aspect of it.…

The Boy and the Heron 2023
The flow of this film felt really off. Maybe it was the English dub and I’m being too harsh on it but something felt off.
What really bothered me the entire film was all of the open questions that never got answered.
“Tunnels underneath the old tower”
“Who opened the graveyard door?”
