subtlety is dead and bong joonho killed it. tbf any dystopian allegory feels much too real these days. not as profound or mind-altering as some of his other work i've seen, but still thoroughly entertaining throughout. even if the ending was more optimistic compared to my expectations, it's always nice to see the baddies eat shit at the end of the day. also i want a creeper plushie soooo bad
